The 2006 vintage, was characterised by slightly cooler and wetter conditions relative to previous years with lower than average mean temperatures throughout the year and beneficially high rainfall in the winter months. The resultant 2006 vintage wines are typified essentially by their intense fruity bouquet, good balance and velvety smooth tannins.

Appearance
Moderate intensity with a medium ruby core and a light ruby rim.
Nose
Medium intense developing aromas of black currants, blackberries, soft spice, underlined by hints of minerality: stone and earthiness.
Palate
Very rounded, smooth with balanced acidity and ripe black fruit characteristics. Full bodied with smooth and velvety tannins, generous alcohol a lingering finish.
Conclusion
This wine is ready to drink now but can keep for another 2 years.
